Mission

Since its founding, Hoffman, Vance & Worthington, Inc. has sought to provide exemplary real property services and expertise to Ventura County, while building long-lasting and meaningful relationships with its clients and the local community.

History

In 1956 Walter W. Hoffman, Oather C. Vance, and William E. Worthington formed a partnership to provide a suite of services that were previously unavailable in Ventura County: agricultural management, appraisal, and consultation. Their combined experience in agriculture, ranching, property management, petroleum operations, real estate, and accounting, proved to be a valuable resource to the community. Their successors continue the legacy and work to this day and now handle all aspects of land management in order to maintain the high standards of adaptability and customer service established by the original partners.

Beverly Gutierrez

Managing Partner – Commercial
Beverly offers over 30 years of property management experience in Ventura County. Beverly’s portfolio includes retail shopping centers, single and multi-tenant industrial projects, self-storage, transmitter sites, mineral leases, and grazing right leases. With over one million square feet and over 1,500 tenants under her care, she has proven to be an invaluable resource to her clients.

Alyssa Gutierrez

Managing Partner – Commercial
Alyssa is a Ventura native who offers over 10 years of property management experience in Ventura County. Alyssa’s portfolio includes retail shopping centers, single and multi-tenant industrial projects, agricultural land-leasing and management, self-storage, transmitter sites, mineral leases, and grazing right leases.

Kevin McAtee

Managing Partner – Appraisals
Kevin is a native of Ventura County with over thirty years’ worth of experience in brokerage and development, having endeavored to be knowledgeable about all aspects of real property since the 80s. Kevin has specialized in valuation services since the early 90s, in addition to offering asset management, transactions, and litigation support.

Dominick McCormick

Managing Partner – Agriculture
Dominick is well-versed in the farming business, having been born into a farming family with roots dating back to late-1800s homesteaders. He has worked at HVW for almost 30 years, following his service in the Army. His portfolio of management accounts totals hundreds of acres of avocado and lemon orchards throughout the county. He also avails himself as a consultant to countless agricultural development projects.
